Electrical Engineering

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Govt. Polytechnic Samba currently offers three years diploma in Electrical Engineering. The department has state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities to provide its students education and training aligned to its mission. The faculty is well qualified and dedicated. Students entering the diploma program are provided basic knowledge and training in the analysis of electrical energy systems, including, broadly, systems employed for generation, transmission, control, and conversion of electrical energy. The Department has a well-equipped facility for giving students hands-on training and exposure in all fundamental technologies that are a part of a standard diploma level Electrical Engineering course. This would provide students with the opportunity to customize their education, fostering interdisciplinary learning and the development of a comprehensive range of skills. The department imparts quality Engineering Education and is grooming students in all facets of Creative Learning, technical competency, character building and overall personality development through will qualified and experienced faculty members. .

Green technology is one of the emerging & widely accepted solutions to overcome this crisis. Hence the research & innovation in this field is the need of the future. Therefore we have to create an enabling environment for training innovative, capable & highly motivated intellectual manpower to meet India's & World's Technological needs in close partnership with the industry.
